Akin Akınözü was born on September 22, 1990 in Ankara, Turkey. He comes from a family of artists and is the only child of actress Özlem Akınözü and Tamer Akınözü. Although acting ran through his veins, before deciding to become a professional artist he pursued studies at the University of California Berkeley, where he graduated with a degree in Applied Mathematics.
