Cartoon icons are gearing up to leave it soon close to the next platform fighter, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl. Leonardo, from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, will be able to jump into the ring with characters like Zim and CatDog in a total battle to the end.
Over the past few weeks we’ve been seeing a steady stream of revelations and information leaked about the game, and today we’ll take a closer look at how fans will actually play. He Official Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl account on Twitter has published the full list of SpongeBob moves.
From what we can see here, the All-Star Brawl controls are divided into three different attack buttons. You have a light attack, a strong attack and a special attack as the foundation of everything you do in attack.
As expected, we see similar contributions to the Super Smash Bros. series, a franchise from which this game has definitely been inspired. Neutral or directional inputs along with an attack trigger a movement, and some movements are made while running or in the air.
For Mr. Squarepants, we see several attacks that are direct references to various episodes and things it does on the show. The low, loud attack triggers the “Imagination Clap,” a maneuver where SpongeBob creates a rainbow at the top of his head, something you’ve probably seen online at one time or another due to his meme status. .
SpongeBob also has the ability to blow bubbles, use his jellyfish net and cut karate to his enemies with his big karate gloves.
