Cadillac used the Rolex 24 in Daytona to launch its first teaser of the 2022 CT4-V and CT5-V Blackwings before their official debut on Monday, February 1, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. ET. And, man, do they look beautiful?
Because it is not official launch time yet, Cadillac played coi with its minute teaser, which you can see in full below:
Blackwings mimic their most common namesakes of the same name, but these are Cadillac’s opportunities to really drive the wrap in terms of looks, technology and aero. As the teaser suggests, both vehicles will have six-speed manual transmissions as standard, but you can opt for a 10-speed if you feel more resilient.

The most obvious changes here are obviously the look, which is aggressive and frankly beautiful. The front housing is transformed to look more aggressive and, with the addition of a front splitter, rear spoiler and ducks to the CT4-V Blackwing, achieve some road-running machines that would not look out of place on the track. The Blackwings just look bad.

Yes, they make fun forged magnesium wheels designed to reduce weight and improve handling. Yes, the steering wheel will be wrapped in leather and will have carbon fiber accents. Yes, you will feel that you are at the top of the world.
You will need to tune the file official debut to get all the specs and performance specs, but we wouldn’t be surprised if the CT4-V Blackwing grabbed a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 or a 3.6-liter twin-turbo V-6. The CT5-V Blackwing, a larger machine, could even get the supercharged 6.2-liter V-8.
