Here is the solution to a blurred Cyberpunk 2077 with NVIDIA DLSS enabled

I’ve been devoting time to Cyberpunk 2077 playing the game and appreciating the amazing work CD PROJEKT RED has done with the game, with some performance articles coming up next week to talk about it all, but there’s a problem: DLSS.

  • Left handed: DLSS regular Right: Texture LOD Bias -3

DLSS is the only performance saver in Cyberpunk 2077 for NVIDIA GeForce RTX graphics card owners, but right now it’s also a problem. If you play 4K and enable DLSS and switch it to performance mode, the internal rendering resolution drops to 1080p and is normal, it is blurred.

I had to put DLSS in quality mode so that it is not blurred, any other DLSS setting at 4K is too blurry. But … there is a solution, thanks to Reddit user ‘kulind’ who said if you edit the file Setting the texture LOD bias to -3 through NVIDIA Profile Inspector, there is a big improvement in texture sharpness; you can see it in the comparison above apart from Cyberpunk 2077.
