Authorities confiscated yesterday 26 packages with 819 kilos of cocaine in a speedboat at coasts of Honduras, While in another operation they found 60 kilos of the drug hidden in a truck in San Pedro Sula.
The 879 kilos of cocaine seized are the result of operations by the Technical Agency for Criminal Investigation (Atic) and the Honduran Naval Force.

The detainees were identified with the names of Jesús Ramón Montaño Carreño, Francisco Javier Romero, Jairo Ismael Barreto Roses, Julio Rafael Ramos Miranda and Junior David Boada Farfán, who will be charged with aggravated drug trafficking.
Yuri Mora, spokesman for the Public Ministry, reported that the Atic receives information from other agencies and with this they managed to intercept the boat on the high seas.

The boat was intercepted on Saturday and yesterday in the early hours of the morning the agents of the Attic carried out the inspection and transferred the packages to Tegucigalpa, where 819 kilos of cocaine were counted.
The packages were marked with the image of a red horse and R 35, which identifies the laboratories where they are made.

Another Atic team required a truck with HAB 5259 license plates yesterday morning which was inspected at the Public Prosecutor’s Office in the neighborhood La Porta de San Pedro Sula. The truck carrying the 60 pounds of the drug came from Tocoa, Colom, and its destination was Copán, where it would be delivered to a group of narcos who aimed to cross the border into Guatemala and then the United States.
