Madero confirmed that during the COP26 the reconstruction and sustainable development plan will be presented. “We will explore alternatives that will allow Honduras, in its capacity as one of the countries most affected by climate change, better access to climate finance, especially the Green Climate Fund,” the official said.
He detailed that Honduras “aspires to establish, wants to seek strategic alliances within COP26, which will allow it to participate in the decision-making bodies of climate finance agencies, such as the Green Climate Fund and the Adaptation Fund.”
