The total number of people fully vaccinated against coronavirus is close to 800,000.

Utah did not report any new COVID-19-related deaths Sunday by the Utah Department of Health, although more than 17,000 new vaccines and about 8,000 more people were fully vaccinated. Hospitalizations are declining slightly, although the number of people in intensive care units as a result of COVID-19 has increased slightly.
Vaccines reported in past / total vaccinations • 17,268 / 1,897,531.
Utahns completely vaccinated • 791,340.
Cases reported last day • 248.
Deaths were reported last day • Zero.
Tests reported last day • A total of 4,112 people were tested.
Hospitalizations reported last day • 133. It has dropped seven on Saturday. Of those currently hospitalized, 55 are in the ICU, two more than on Saturday.
Percentage of positive tests • The new state method counts all test results, including repeated tests by the same individual. The rate on Sunday was 3.3%, lower than the seven-day average of 3.6%.
