The Mexican singer-songwriter Armando Manzanero is hospitalized on charges of Covid-19. This was announced on Thursday night by the Society of Authors and Composers of Mexico, an entity he chairs.
According to the statement posted on Twitter: “Master Armando Manzanero tested positive for Covid-19 and is being treated in accordance with established medical protocols. We appreciate the concern and affection of the authors and composers, the public in general and the media “.

Manzanero, 85, last Friday had been the protagonist of a tribute to Yucatan, his homeland, where they inaugurated a museum dedicated to his work called “Casa Manzanero”.
Also this year he received a career award at the last Billboard Awards.
