House will vote Wednesday on a package that includes the $ 1,400

The Federal House of Representatives is preparing to cast its final vote on the bill that would give way to the COVID-19 stimulus package proposed by President Joe Biden.

After the Senate approved it and incorporated amendments, the package was returned to the lower house for a final approval before the president’s signing.

As reported by CNN, a Democratic special aide informed them that although the majority leader, Steny Hoyer, said the vote would be on Tuesday, it is likely to happen on Wednesday, March 10th.

Another official inside the House told the media that the delay does not correspond to any specific problem but to the detail of the measure taking time to process.

The $ 2.4 trillion package includes a third stimulus check for $ 1.4 billion and billions for states and municipalities.

In addition, it extends the $ 300 unemployment benefit through Sept. 6.

The first $ 10,200 of this unemployment benefit will have a contributory credit that will apply to drownings receiving less than $ 150,000 a year.

It also proposes that parents receive a credit of $ 3,600 per year for each child under 6 years of age.

While for children between 6 and 17 years the credit would be $ 3 thousand, an increase of one thousand dollars compared to that approved in the last package.
