HOUSTON METEOR: Are there any chances of snow in Texas next week?

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) – Is there any chance of snow in Texas next week?

Yes, but not necessarily in Southeast Texas. A huge mass of Arctic air will invade the country and reach the Gulf Coast.

Moisture coming in from the west will mix with this and produce snow in North Texas.

Will the Houston area see anything?

Well, it is possible that our atmosphere will be cold enough to withstand some snow or frost towards next Friday. Before, it will only rain cold from Wednesday.

This event is still a long way off and many things can change.
