The fire department said a family from an Easton Commons Drive 8500 block apartment complex would have tried to heat their unit with a charcoal grill.
The conditions of the people involved were not immediately disclosed.

Following the incident, firefighters are reminding people of the dangers of carbon monoxide poisoning, especially when the area is submerged in extremely cold temperatures.
“Remember to never heat your home with an iron or oven,” firefighters added in a tweet. “Remember to never use a generator or a grill indoors. These produce carbon monoxide, which is a deadly, colorless, odorless gas.”
