It’s been four and a half years since The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild a Switch was released (and Wii U, don’t forget Wii U) and it’s one of those evergreen games I’ve re-entered. Since then.

That’s not to say I’m constantly restarting the game (although there are a lot of people starting back to regularity), but after re-polishing the Champion’s Ballad DLC, load the Master Sword to its full potential and get my hands on it. in Master Cycle Zero, I still find myself throwing the game and gliding through Hyrule to hunt down the last dozen Koroks and generally enjoy the serene atmosphere of the game.

A quick look at the completion percentage (as found at the bottom left of the map screen) indicates that after playing for “280 hours or more” – blimey! – My Breath of the Wild save file is 94.53% complete. Getting there! Slowly.

In fact, I remember looking at the same% stat right after defeating Calamity Ganon for the first time and being surprised by the loss. I don’t remember the exact number, but it was amazing considering I had just “finished” the game.

Out of sheer curiosity, I asked some Nintendo Life officials what “complete” their BOTW percentage is. One couple told me that they had lost their original savings on previous Switchs (or had simply deleted them after starting another play), so their low percentage was not an accurate reflection of their time with the game.

Ryan Craddock’s response brought back memories for you:

Wow, only 32.75% on BotW for me. I did the four big things, the 120 shrines, I unlocked the whole map with these towers and then I went to defeat Ganon, but yes, somehow only 32.75 … I also found something that says I have done 34/77 secondary missions.

Video producer Jon Cartwright is over absolutely everything in the game, although it was those exploding Korok seeds that kept him at 100% for a long time:

335 hours for me … [the final seed] it ended up being an incredibly simple Tarrey Town.

Clearly, even people who have spent several dozen hours in Breath of the Wild may be a little surprised by the overall game, so today we wonder how much Breath of the Wild has. you completed? Map of regions, Korok seeds, missions: they all go to this final total.
