Destiny 2
OBKatieKat
Well, a new exploit is circulating in Destiny 2, and it’s time to try it out before it hits. Before I start calling me to talk about it, I know Bungie is well he is already aware of it (There are a lot of major streamers that have done this), so there is probably a solution. But until then it’s time to have fun.
What is happening? The way it works is that you can have:
- Firefighters from 7 to 12 people in raids.
- Fireworks for 4 to 9 people in dungeons and night falls.
I think this was discovered a week or two ago, but it seems like it’s only going around now. How do you do it? Here’s Cheese Forever talking about tactics if you want to see a video on this, but I’ll tell you below,
In short, one fire team needs to join another at zero seconds when an activity starts. This is the easiest thing to do on your computer with binding codes and you just need to lower the time. For a 12-person raid, for example, you must have a six-unit fire team on another six-fire team with a single invitation, which, if properly synchronized, will take the group of six completely separate from the raid. for a total of 12.
The same goes for night falls and dungeons, there are only 9, because you can only start with a team of three. And that can be done by fewer players, of course, if you just want a fourth person to be able to run it or something. Again, it’s just a matter of time. That tin working on the console is harder to time and run due to the lack of union codes, but you can accept invitations or join from the list. You want to time it so that it joins you a little before the activity starts, because it takes a short time to join, if you try to hit this “join to zero” mark. If you have too many people in orbit, you are too soon. If you are unable to enter the activity, you are too late.
This tactic, of course, makes all these activities good, but it’s not like the current raids are. that hard to get started with, so I don’t think this is doing much harm. It’s not that he’s breaking a raid raid or that people are exploiting GM Nightfalls to get crazy rewards. That said, I don’t expect this capability to be maintained permanently, so if you want to test it yourself, it’s best to try it quickly before a review is posted.
So yeah, it’s just fun to experiment. I would love to see Destiny increase its number of players and the size of the trade show team in the future, as I imagine things like loading in 12 people for an Altars of Sorrow or a public (no return) protocol event climbing or of course Bungie designing a raid meant to be for 12 people in the first place. I don’t think this will probably happen, but if it doesn’t, we can only see how this could go with this exploit (spoiler: it’s crazy). Enjoy.
