How to Get an Overdose of COVID Vaccine in Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES (KABC) – More than nine million Californians have been vaccinated. But from time to time, at the end of the day, doses of COVID-19 vaccine are left over.

Now, local Facebook groups are helping people find spare doses.

Doug Ward co-founded the website vaccinehunter.org about a month ago, when he was trying to find a dose of coronavirus vaccine for his mother. He managed to find one with advice from a local Facebook group.

“I decided to create a website to help people find their local groups of vaccine hunters to help vaccinate everyone and everyone,” he said.

The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health reports that less than 10% of people do not show up for their appointments.

So what about these doses? Well, your local group of vaccine hunters can help you make sure you don’t get lost.
