Actors Tina Fey and Amy Poehler will host a bicoastal Golden Globe Sunday that was adjourned for almost two months due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Fey will appear in the Rainbow Room in New York City and Poehler will be at the Beverly Hilton in Southern California, a region that suffered post-holiday wave in COVID-19 cases in January, when the awards ceremony is usually held.
Even with the delay, the annual ceremony honoring excellence in film and television will still begin this year awards season with the Grammys in March and the Scscar in April. During Sunday’s program, Jane Fonda will receive the Cecil B. DeMille Award and Norman Lear will receive the Carol Burnett Award for her achievements.
