Dead cells it has recently become much larger. this week Fatal Falls the expansion adds a game of weapons and enemies to the game, plus two new biomes. The problem is that, in reality, access to these two areas — the fractured shrines and the eternal shores — eludes a simple explanation. Classic Dead cells, right? Here’s how to find them.
Fractured shrines
It is easy to access. After beating the first boss, I usually follow the route that sees me facing the concierge, on the black bridge, you should see an elevator to the next antechamber. Take it to the top. Easy enough.

When you reach the end of the biome of the fractured shrines, you will find a door to the immortal shores. Unless you have explored all the pixels of the fractured shrines, they will be locked, with no explicit direction on how to unlock them.
Note the two statues on each side of the door, specifically how they wear hooded robes. Look for a corpse wearing this dress. It will be hidden against a sarcophagus in some dusty corner of the procedurally generated design of the stage.
Once you find the corpse, you must use the Homunculus rune (right wheel, at least on Switch) to separate your “head” from the body and possess that corpse. From there, you just have to make your way through the rest of the level normally. (Don’t worry, you’ll keep your gear.) The statues guarding the door should pull Gandalf opposite and let you through. You will also unlock the Cultist’s Outfit plan, which, as a bonus, only costs one cell to unlock.
(There is a potential hiccup: since you only get the Homunculus rune after successfully completing the first race, it is unclear whether players who have not will be able to access the eternal shores. Kotaku has contacted the developer Motion Twin for clarification).
You only have to do it once; the door to Undying Shores will remain open in your future careers. Apparently, there is a boss at the end of the stage, an alternative to the Time Keeper, who appears on the Clock Room stage. I’m pretty rusty Dead cells so for now, I have no idea what this new enemy is like or how the hell you defeated it. Good luck!
