Awesome Games Done Quick returns today for an online version in 2021. If you’re somehow unfamiliar, the popular charity marathon regularly features a crowded program that quickly runs several live video games online and has historically included a face-to-face event that people can attend. With the coronavirus pandemic still underway, however, things will be a little different this year.
The full event starts today and should be ongoing as you read this. The first is one The edge of the mirror run and the day should end Pikmin 2. The full calendar of the event is available online and, as usual, there should be files of the runs coming up after the event. As usual, you can watch the full event as it happens yourself on the official Games Done Quick Twitch channel. Awesome Games Done Quick 2021 Online will end in the early hours of Sunday, January 10th The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time to run.
As a charity marathon, Awesome Games Done Quick 2021 Online will support the Prevent Cancer Foundation, a U.S. nonprofit organization focused on cancer prevention and early detection. All donations made to the event go directly to the foundation. Last year’s event raised more than $ 3.16 million in nonprofits and, as always, there are plans to surpass that number this year.
