But did he get the silver?
Hugh Jackman celebrated his 25th wedding anniversary with Deborra-Lee Furness by sharing a series of wedding day photographs and some kind words about his wife.
“Being married to you Deb is as natural as breathing,” he wrote on Instagram. “From the moment we met … I knew our destiny was to be together. In our 25 years: our love has only deepened. The fun, excitement, and adventure are more exciting; even greater learning. I am always grateful to share our love, our life and our family together. We just started. “
Jackman, 52, and Furness, 65, were married on April 11, 1996 in their native Australia. The actors met on the set of the TV show “Correlli”.
Over the years, the “Wolverine” star has been pleased with very public displays of affection.
In 2019, Jackman serenaded Furness during a concert with Frank Sinatra’s “All the Way,” the song by which the couple “waltzed” for the first time at their wedding.
“He was gushing over his wife, Deb, before a montage of photos of her and together they started playing on the screens,” one concertgoer of the moments leading up to Jackman’s song said.
But they have also been seen on more mundane dates (at Ikea in Brooklyn, for example) and adventures, such as going swimming safely in the Hamptons last December.
Furness has defended the couple’s relationship over the years from rumors about Jackman’s sexuality and excavations directed at her.
He has said several times that it is rude to say he is “lucky” to marry the Hollywood piece.
