George Clooney may be one of the most famous actors in the world, but he aspires for his two children just like anyone else.

The Oscar winner, 59, opened up in an interview about his parents’ journey Guardian, In which he reflected on his own upbringing and the ways in which he wanted to raise his twin 3-year-old children, Ella and Alexander. As the two learned to ride their bikes on the tennis court, Clooney echoed their success, saying, “They learned how to ride. Fast. They have not yet learned to use their brakes. ”

Clooney vows that he is not a hover, but he admits that children need to learn from misguidance as they grow up.

“Put it this way,” Clooney says. “The thought of them falling is not my favorite thing. I try to give them enough space to make their mistakes.”

Clooney now sees things a little differently as a parent. When he chose to leave Kentucky for his dream of an acting career in Hollywood, his father exclaimed, “You’re dropping out of your education!” While Clooney hopes to avoid “presenting anything in advance of what you want from your children”, he hopes he will give his children room to grow.

“I hope I’ll be in a place where I can say, ‘OK. Make your mistakes,'” he said.

“I felt I had to take the plans and keep the sequel going,” Clooney explained. “Everything changed when I married Amala.”

Although he is still interested in his work, Clooney says it’s about family these days.

“For now we’re still doing, ‘Hey, this’s what makes Nutella look like a boob in your clothes. Go and show it to Mom,’ ‘he teased, but then intensified. These are the things that we have done to stand up against this moment in history. ‘ Not just to make them proud. But to make their world better. ”

Clooney to star in new Netflix movie Midnight The sky, Is optimistic about the future.

“This is a bad year. It is. But we are going to achieve it. I believe in it wholeheartedly,” he said. “If I do not believe we do not know how to raise children in this world. It is my hope and optimism that we are going to face these things and that we will come out better. ”
