Some relationships are never going to be perfect.
We had a lot together. Well, we spent a lot of time together.
We traveled because the world fell apart. We both had dinner. But as we were locked up, I began to realize that relationship was weighing on me.
Somehow, I realized that my iPhone XR is a little heavier on hand, not exactly pretty timeless pretty hardware.
With critical time, Apple released the new iPhones.
However, I am a person with (some) policy (s). I would never buy a new phone without being able to keep looking at it first.
So what can I do, but go to an apple shop and see if I am allowed to feel, as well.
It’s loud here. Again.
Thin struck me first as I was being tested as medically fit to enter.
This noise is one reason why Apple stores have become a little harder to tolerate.
As my country controls retail sales with 20% efficiency, I imagined that the store could be blessed with quiet air. On the contrary, it’s like a Selena Gomez concert.
I made an appointment and was soon greeted by a masked expert. She wore a cone-shaped designer mask like a lantern in Designer Wind (A Fu People) Reich.
Immediately, I realized that this would all be a little different.
I used to go to Apple stores and fight in the little corner of a table to chat about the product in question. Here, thanks to the severity of social distance, we are all shown on a large table.
It was Tiffany’s – or, perhaps, your local bakery at dawn – standing on one side of the expert table, spreading her arms wide and saying, “Here they are all.” The iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro Max and iPhone Mini are each available in different colors. I notice everything.
Before I could ask a polite question, the expert added: “Feel free to touch them.”
This is weird. An epidemic increased rather than diminished the sense of personal service. Every time I picked up a phone there was an expert to wipe it down and change its position. Each time I picked up the phone, she explained what was going on.
I showed her my XR and she immediately recommended 12.
“It’s very similar to what you’ve got. The difference between the 12 and 12 Pro is the telephoto lens. So if you’re some kind of videographer, get the Pro,” he said.
“I’m not a videographer,” he admitted.
This result is much easier than LeBron.
I definitely don’t want to go big.
I do not know why people buy Max phones, if not watch games and videos. Two of the three biggest phone apps these days – I think, taking forty photos a day and posting them on social media is another. Ghosh, that telephoto lens will come in handy.
As for the mini, it felt too small because it was a children’s version. It’s amazing how Samsung was able to introduce the idea of the biggest phones before Apple claimed to have invented it.
For me, 12 people felt lighter and slightly slimmer than my XR, strangely but not unpleasant retro, hey, now I have two cameras, which I never consciously wanted.
Oh, of course, I got the blue 12. I am deceptive and superficial, so this was created just for me.
The expert spoke to me through phone plans, told me to stay with AT&T if the signal in my house was good, and gave me $ 250 for my XR and a free setup.
Then, as if completing the personalized experience, he grabbed the box and said with a small game-show wave: “You’ll notice the box is thin this year.”
She was right.
“That’s because we don’t offer you headphones anymore,” he explained.
That’s when the fun started.
I used to save staff to set up my phone and then download, restart and reset it sometimes leave me at a desk while going icy speed.
“I usually put you in a corner,” the expert said, and it seems to me for a while that I did a bad deed. “But due to social distance there is only room for two people against the wall. There are already two people there.”
So we were on this extensive table, able to chat, solve world problems, and talk philosophically about many things.
“I see you have a security guard there, but if the thieves do a check they should be allowed to steal the goods. So what will the security guard really do?” I asked.
Like one or two things on Apple, I was worried he was only there for the show. She raised an eyebrow, which I think was a masked version of a smile.
I found out that she really enjoyed working at Apple, that the company treated all its employees very well during epidemics, and that bad customers were hypocrites.
“They think they are extra qualified because they are a CEO or something,” he said. Oh, That People. Yes, I met one or two.
We talked about Portugal, studying psychology, choosing a career, getting a job at Apple Corporate, walking asymmetry and a few more things I will not mention here because you will not do so.
Not once did she try and rush me, start serving another customer, or do anything, but be a quiet representative of the brand.
Many telephone shop employees have acted far beyond what is required of them during an outbreak. They, like many in the retail business, have been increasingly abused by the ignorant. They still come to work and are very tolerant.
When my iPhone 12 was finally set up, we said goodbye to each other.
We don’t want happy holidays with each other. On the contrary, congratulations to each other on our dreams.
If this is not the best stop sign for 2020, I do not know what to do.
