The President of Bolivia, Luis Alberto Arce, said that he will never forget the solidarity he received in Mexico after the “coup” that his country suffered in 2019, When he traveled to Mexico City with former President Evo Morales.
At the morning conference of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador, the Bolivian president celebrated his visit to Mexico again and his invitation to the National Palace, no longer as a refugee.
“It is a happiness to come to Mexico no longer as a refugee, as an asylum seeker, in the face of the blow perpetuated in my country in November 2019, we were here trying to prepare ourselves for the new life that awaited us, until we were summoned as to candidate for the Presidency.
“here we received solidarity that we are going to keep in a corner of our hearts, Arriving in Bolivia on the contrary, human rights were not respected and thanks to the awareness of the Bolivian people we recovered at the polls in October 2020, so for me it is double joy to be here ” he said at the National Palace.
This morning, President Andrés Manuel López Obrador received the Bolivian president at the Palacio Nacional, after inviting him to participate as a distinguished speaker in the commemoration of Chakán Putum’s Victory Day, which will be held tomorrow in Champotón, Campeche.
