The director of Project 23, Irinka Cordoví, explains that these modifications in the services they offer are covered by Resolution 328/20 issued by the Ministry of Finance and Prices and approved by the President of the ICAIC, Ramon Samada, and the Minister of Culture, Alpidio Alonso.
The price of admission, he said, to 2D movie features increase to 5 CUP in all theaters. Prices for access to 3D functions are 15 CUP for children under 12, and 25 CUP for adults.
As for children’s and circus shows, the prices are 20 CUP for children and 30 CUP for adults; musical, humorous and other shows range from 100 to 150 CUP, depending on the level and quality of the artists; and other services from Project 23 will have a value of 25 CUP per person.
For Cordoví, the increase in prices implies a better functioning within the cinemas and cinemas, which will be reflected through a commitment in elements such as hygiene and the environment, the quality of the programming, as well as in a treatment of excellence to attendees.
“We know that for some years now, audience attendance at cinemas has decreased. The country’s cultural policy calls us to rescue the magic of the darkroom.
