In addition to a year of her engagement, Maite Perroni explains why she has not married

In late 2019 Maite Perroni explained in an interview with Mara Patricia Castañeda how Koko had given her the ring after six years of relationship.

“Koko told me ‘do you want to marry me’ at a dinner one day in Miami, a very nice place and it was like ‘Yes, yes I want to marry you.’ It wasn’t like protocol, it was just like ‘you want’ and I ‘yes, yes I want.’ It was a very thing about him and me, there was no ceremony, there was no civil registration, there were no guests, there was nothing, it was something between him and me, a glass of wine and a real conversation and then he came and said to me, ‘This is a gift’, it was a very beautiful, very beautiful ring that walks here.

“We haven’t done things the way they conventionally should, but for us they have been what they are and we have been in a relationship that has told the story, that continues and we have learned to be complicit,” Maite Perroni explained.
