The Public Ministry, through its Director General of Persecution Yeni Berenice Reynoso, asked the court to merge the appeals in a case.
However, Pagán and Rosa Rosa’s lawyers opposed the request on the grounds that it was a matter of “particular cases”. and that appeals were filed separately.
Postponed appeal for Wednesday
After deliberating on Berenice Reynoso’s request, the court presided over by Judge Julius Caesar Canon Alfau ruled postpone the hearing for next Wednesday at 9:00 p.m. in order to give the MP a chance to study all appeals.
