The president of the College of Surgeons of Puerto Rico, Víctor Ramos, reported that today, three doctors are hospitalized in the Intensive Care Unit for COVID-19.
In an interview with Radio Illa, Ramos pointed out that there are more than 10 doctors infected with the virus.
On the increase in cases of coronavirus in Puerto Rico, the doctor stated that “we have been 14 days with more than 100 people in intensive care. At no time in the pandemic, we had 14 days with more than 100 people in intensive care and this drains the hospital system. “
The Department of Health reported today through its digital portal, that there are 462 adults hospitalized by COVID-19 in Puerto Rico. Of these, 113 are in intensive care.
On the other hand, there are 31 minors also hospitalized, none of them in intensive care.
