An Iraqi court has issued an arrest warrant against U.S. President Donald Trump.
According to Deutsche Welle media, the arrest warrant is for the January 2020 bombing of Baghdad, which took the life of Iraqi militia leader Abu Mahdi in Iraq. Mohandes, and the Iranian commander Qasem Soleimaní.
In this regard, the Supreme Judicial Council of Iraq reported that the competent judge “decided to issue an arrest warrant against the President of the United States, Donald Trump (…) and will continue with the investigation procedures for to find other participants in the execution of this crime, whether Iraqi or foreign. “
The decision to issue the order was after the judge collected the testimonies of the relatives of A l’Mohandes.
It should be remembered that this happens a day after the assault on the Capitol in Washington by supporters of Trump, at a time when lawmakers were certifying the victory of Joe Biden in the presidential election.
