It looks like Nintendo has already finished the Super Mario Maker favorites website

When Mario ‘s 35th birthday is celebrated next week, the online services of Super Mario Maker on the Wii U it also ends, meaning players will no longer be able to upload their own courses.

As you may recall, the Super Mario Maker Bookmark website would also close on March 31st. It seems that Nintendo has pushed the web service ahead of schedule.

Super Mario Maker fan and Nintendo Life reader Nintendo_Thumb notes how the “website went down 4 days earlier” and has been inactive since at least March 26th. The website says the “service is currently unavailable” and now displays a 503 error.

So if you are hoping to visit the site one last time before you unsubscribe, it looks like yes I could not being lucky. Here is the full list of affected Super Mario Maker services:

Services that will end (Super Mario Maker – Wii U)

  • The ability to upload courses to Super Mario Maker for Wii U
  • The Super Mario Maker Bookmark website
    Due to this, the following Software Course World features will also not be available:
    • Update the classification of the courses I like
    • Looking for your courses marked as favorites
