Ivanka Trump broke the nearly three-month silence on social media by posting a photo of herself against the COVID-19 vaccine.
“Today I received the photo !!! I hope you do too! ”The 39-year-old first daughter, 39, wrote on Wednesday along with photographs of the puncture in her left arm while wearing a white T-shirt, jeans and a mask.
“Thank you Nurse Torres !!! 💙 ”he wrote in it first post on Instagram and Twitter since his father left the White House.
Ivanka received the Pfizer vaccine in Miami, Florida, where she and her family moved after leaving Washington, DC. Anyone 16 years of age or older can be vaccinated in the Sunshine State.
He had been offered the vaccine along with other White House officials when he was working as a senior adviser to his father’s administration, but chose to wait, two sources told the Associated Press.
Ivanka told the cabling service that “vaccinating ourselves is our best way to fight this virus and protect ourselves and others.”
However, his decision provoked a backlash among many of his followers, with a flood of comments from horrified anti-vaxxers that he would get the shot and also try to encourage others to do so. Some even claimed that the pandemic is a hoax.

Others suggested that the photos be taken in such a way as to hide the injection point, in order to show that it was punctured.
“Bummer. I expected it to be above this kind of virtue signage, ”complained one follower, Renee Garner Van Dyke.
