Alba Mery Balvin, mother of reggaeton player J Balvin, is recovering successfully after undergoing a medical procedure.

This was announced by the artist on his Instagram account.

“January 1st, another testimony of the light that covers us all,” answer Alba Mery to her son’s question about how he was on the first day of the year.

In recent days, the singer had asked his fans to raise a prayer for his mother’s state of health.

Through one of his social media stories, Balvin shared a screenshot of a video call he was holding with her.

There he was seen wearing a black cap and what appears to be a surgical patient gown. Meanwhile, the reggaeton player had a worried expression on his face.
