MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Jackson Health System announced Monday that it is expanding the criteria for COVID-19 vaccination to its three sites, which includes vaccinating vulnerable patients even if they do not have a medical grade.
The health system said it will provide shots in the following four categories starting Tuesday:

65 years or older

50-64 year olds with identification document proving you are school staff at a K-12 school, a sworn police officer or a firefighter

18 years of age and older and prove that your doctor recommended the vaccine because of your high-risk condition (no documentation required)

From the age of 16 to 17, you must prove that your doctor recommended the vaccine because of your high-risk condition. No documentation or proof is required. At your appointment, you must have a parent or legal guardian at your appointment to give consent
Jackson said he would open his online dating portal on JacksonHealth.org on Monday and that people who meet the vaccine criteria can sign up for appointments that begin Tuesday.

Nicklaus Children’s Hospital announced on Friday that it was also beginning to accept the registration of vaccines from the general public for people aged 16 to 21 with conditions that make them particularly vulnerable to COVID-19.
