The Cuban actress Jaqueline Arenal denounced on social media that the Club Imatges, a nightclub in the state, invaded the entrance of its building in Havana by installing a place for the sale of products.
“I make this publication, to denounce the fact that the Club Imatges, located next to our building in the street Calçada and C in the Vedado, has decided (without even a consultation with the Council of Neighbors), to open a window for sell liquor and other products in a common area of the building, “Arenal explained.
According to the artist, this action obstructs people’s access as it interrupts the passage through the only staircase that owns the building, “and have disabled a stonemason of our facade for use by the public who come to buy “.
For the actress, the fact is a violation of “all the rules of respect and exclusivity of the common space of the building and the neighbors.” In addition, he ignores the claims that were being handled with the club manager, who never gave an answer about the concern.
Arenal said he had warned the manager that they would claim through “all the corresponding channels” and in his post shared photos of the letters sent to the authorities, which appear under the rubric of the President of Neighbors Council.
In one of them they complain about the noise caused by people in the nightclub and the inactivity of the police to solve the problem, as the club alleges that its customers are not their responsibility once they go out to the Street. They also ask that the hours (from 10 pm to 3 am) be reduced to 12 am.
