A social media platform star TikTok said the ‘youtuber’ turned boxer, Jake Paul, Forced her to have sex without consent in the summer of 2019.
Justine Paradise stated in a 20-minute video posted on YouTube last Friday that she said nothing about the alleged attack earlier because she signed a non-disclosure agreement.
In a statement a ESPN, lawyer Daniel E. Gardenswartz, who works for the law firm Solomon Ward Seidenwurm & Smith LLP, has indicated that Paul “categorically denies the charge” and will take “legal action against those responsible for the defamation of character.”
In the extensive video, Paradise noted that he met Paul several times in June and July 2019 at a mansion in Los Angeles, where several social media stars lived and worked. Paradise said that on July 20, 2019 she felt she made it clear to Paul that she didn’t want to go beyond kisses, but Paul forced her to do other things.
“He didn’t ask for consent or anything,” Paradise said in the video. “I knew I didn’t want to do anything with him.”
Paradise did not mention the possibility of taking the information to the police. Paul responded to Twitter on Tuesday, saying that “this statement made against me is 100% false” and that “he never had sex with this person.”
“Allegations of sexual assault are not something that I or anyone else should take lightly, but to be clear, this statement made against me is 100% false,” he pointed out.
Paul, 24, has gained notoriety in the boxing world since knocking out former NBA player Nate Robinson last November. Paul is scheduled to fight former UFC wrestler Ben Askren in a boxing bout on Saturday in Atlanta.
