Jake Paul claims to be “retired” after the victory over Tyron Woodley

Youtuber, turned professional boxer Jake Paul, claims he is now a “retired boxer” after his eight-and-eight victory over UFC wrestler Tyron Woodley on Sunday night.

Paul, 24, now 4-0 in professional fights, made this startling announcement via Twitter Monday night.

It is unclear the seriousness of the claim given Paul’s drama and joke story, and given the massive payroll he receives from each fight.

After his victory on Sunday, Paul sparked a possible future bout with former UFC champion Conor McGregor, who had previously clashed on social media.

He didn’t seem to think about retiring then.

“We’re on the road to much bigger fights, I’m also salivating because I’m warming up,” Paul said, via MMA Junkie.

Paul’s retirement tweet could be a punch to McGregor, who announced his retirement in 2016 before returning to the ring, since he had significantly less success.

Paul and Woodley bet that the winner of Sunday’s fight would tattoo his name on the loser’s body.

On Monday, Paul tweeted his terms for Woodley’s tattoo, which will say “I love Jake Paul.”

Paul said the tattoo should be 3 “x2” in size, cannot be covered, should be there permanently, should be posted on social media and should be visible with shorts and a shirt .
