The future of James Rodriguez it’s still complicated. The Colombian player, according to versions of the Turkish press, did not reach an agreement with the Colombian Basaksehir, of Turkey, and its fate, for now, remains tied to the Everton.

Yağız Sabuncuoğlu, a journalist from Turkey, had said that the two clubs had reached an agreement, but that the player was not convinced to go to that country.

“Although Basaksehir signed with Everton for James Rodriguez, so far they have not been able to convince the player,” he said on his social media.

Now, the same journalist said that the Turkish club did not reach an agreement with either James or his employer, Jorge Mendes.

“The Colombian has been the subject of interest in Basaksehir, but with the closing of the Turkish window on Wednesday, it seems likely that he will stay in Goodison,” says the publication, which adds that there was also an option at an anonymous club in the Middle East, “the Liverpool Echo newspaper reported.
