Jamie Foxx still mourns the death of her sister, Andrew Dixon, who died in late October.
The 52-year-old all-round artist opened up about how he and his family were coping with Dixon’s loss, which Fox said was “sudden” and an open wound to “Fox” and his family who “often kept family close.”
“You know what? We ‘re getting together. Earlier, when it happened, it was very sudden,” Fox said of Doxon’s death, who was born in September 1984 to parents Louise Annette Dixon and stepmother George Dixon with Down syndrome. My mother, my father, my sister, they all live with me – it was very painful. ”
Fox spoke with the entertainment show while discussing his latest film “Soul” animated film, in which Fox plays a music instructor who travels for a second chance in life after he dies in an accident.

Dixon gave Fox and his entire family a sense of life, and it was the life of the party whenever the lights shone brightly, Fox recalled.

Fox added: “When I told you it’s my baby, it’s my father’s baby, my sister’s sister, we thought it was a light.”
Dixon was an ambassador for the Global Down Syndrome Foundation and began competing in the Special Olympics in the sixth grade. He competed for almost 10 years, and after graduating from high school in 2002 the family moved from native Texas to California.

Despite being awarded the Quincy Jones Excellent Lawyer Award by the organization in October 2009, he was at every step of the way for Fox Dixon.
“I think I was born to dance. I want to be a professional dancer, ”says Bio, of the Dixon Foundation. “My brother gave me a chance to do some special things. I danced to his video ‘Flame It’. I danced on stage at some of his concerts across the country. What do you think? I danced at the Grammys! ”

Dixon’s death came amid a corona virus epidemic and serious social and political unrest, Fox admitted, adding to the pressure.
“We are all affected by this epidemic, we are all affected by these social injustices and things – give us a moment to come together,” Oscar winner Biden and Kamala Harris, Joe’s election president and vice president, said at the right time.
“I know these people … it’s time for some responsible people to take responsibility without respecting the other side,” Fox said. “I think they will unite us. This is the only way America can act.”
As he continues to make history throughout his career as a singer, actor, comedian and TV presenter, Fox also finds hope for others in his animated film.

“I have the opportunity to be the first African American lead player [in a Pixar film], It’s about music, it’s about jazz, it’s about people believing in a dream and believing in themselves, who doesn’t need a movie like this now, especially about everything that happens in their lives? Said Fox.
Fox said he had to get out of his comfort zone by acting in a vocal role instead of physical acting.
“I had to learn because I do facial expressions and all that, and they say, ‘Oh, we can’t see you … we need your throat … it’s your voice.’ All right! ”

Fox, who added about what attracted him to the role, said it got him better points with his kids.
“I was like, ‘Please let me be in it, because … my youngest daughter will think I’m too cold …'” She said, ” Oh, are you making a picture? Oh, you are famous! ‘Before that,’ Dad, I don’t know if the jury left. ‘
