Japanese graphics: Monster Hunter Rise remains in the top ten dominated by Nintendo

Famitsu’s Japanese chart figures are now available for the week ending April 4, revealing that Monster Hunter Rise continues to comfortably lead the group.

The game sold an estimated 277,604 physical copies this week, bringing the total for two weeks to just under 1.6 million in Japan alone. Of course, Capcom has already announced that five million copies of the game have been sent worldwide, so it’s got off to a strong start.

The rest of the top ten is a pretty familiar show, with the Switch games taking up nine of those places. Breaking this trend is the novelty of PS4, Outriders, who debuted in ninth place.

Switch sales continue to benefit from the release of Monster Hunter Rise, although the numbers have dropped from last week. By the way, this week marks the end of data tracking for PS4 Pro sales, as console production is over. Below are this week’s figures, followed by lifetime sales in parentheses:
