Jarod Nandin, cosplayer of “South Park Guy”, dies because of COVID-19

Jarod Nandin, known to fans as cosplayer “The South Park Guy”, has died due to COVID-19. According to Wowhead, Nandin, known to the World of Warcraft community as NWBZPWNR, has died after hiring COVID-19. Nandin revealed his initial condition with friends and family on Twitter on December 18 and, after officially giving him a positive a few days later, unfortunately it happened. Nandin is known by many in the World of Warcraft community for faithfully recreating one of the most notorious jokes in South Park history.

Making big waves during BlizzCon 2013, Nandin became the World of Warcraft player (“The one who has no life”) who became too strong for the game of South Park Season 10 episode, “Make Love, Not Warcraft.” South Park not only cheated in some respects and became aggressive with new players, but South Park ended up looking at the actual version of the player, who was sitting in a chair in front of his computer.

Nandin came to an agreement with both World of Warcraft and South Park fans when he arrived at BlizzCon 2013 in a cosplay that fully reflected this joke character. Nandin stared so hard, that he quickly took off with the fans and became the de facto “South Park Guy” for many, as he would go so far as to shave the top of his head to complete the ridiculous. Because while it could have been a way to do it South Park for fun, Nandin took it to the next level and regained the look in a fun new way.

ComicBook.com offers our condolences to the family, friends and loved ones of Jarod Nandin right now. Members of the World of Warcraft and the cosplay community also shared their tributes:
