Whitney Rose knew something had happened when Jen Shah took off her microphone as she got on the bus for her trip.
Although Rose, 34, did not know that federal agents were looking for Shah, 47, at the time, she knew it must be serious, as removing the microphone has been known as a sin of “housewives.”
“I mean, take out the microphone, it’s like a no-no. We don’t, “Rose said on page six.” In fact, I guess I throw a lot of mud at women turning off the microphones. But when Jen looked at me in pure terror and fear … I just knew, I saw the fear in her eyes. And I can’t help it. I’m just a girl, I’ll do it. “
Shah was arrested in March by federal agents for allegedly running a multistate telemarketing scheme spanning nearly a decade.
His assistant Stuart Smith, who also appeared in “RHOSLC,” was also arrested.
Rose added that the consequences of Shah’s arrest have been “a really difficult situation to navigate.”
“Jen and I’s story hasn’t been the best,” he explained. “However, before their arrest, we had started again and started a good track to try to tolerate each other and build a friendship and be kind to each other.”
He added: “With that, I mean, Jen was being very nice to me. So it was really hard because, you know, they accuse him of such big things. But it’s my job to choose what kind of friend I am. And I have chosen to match Jen with what Jen gives me ”.
Shah’s trial is scheduled for March 2022, but it’s unclear if he still has Rose’s support.
Rose recently christened her a member of the cast of “the most fake” on her show.
