Jennifer Lawrence was injured after being hit in the eye with a fragment of glass when a trick went wrong on the set of her latest film.
The Oscar-winning star, who earned about £ 10 million starring alongside Leonardo DiCaprio in the sci-fi drama Don’t Look Up, was said to have been “shaken but fine” after the Boston incident.
The accident happened when the 30-year-old was filming a riot scene in which a trash can was thrown through a window next to where she was sitting.

One source said: “It was a routine trick and everything looked fine until the window broke and screamed and fell to the floor.
“The glass hit her over the eye, but there were concerns that small fragments might have entered, so they took her to the hospital.
There seems to be no long-term damage.
The film, already delayed by Covid, has been put on hold while the actress recovers.
