Jennifer Lawrence injured on set in the movie ‘Don’t Look Up’

Jennifer Lawrence was injured while shooting her new film “Don’t Look Up” when the glass exploded dramatically on set and hit the star in the face, several sources told Page Six. Production stopped Friday the day after the crash, sources said.

“An explosion has been created for a trick in which the glass breaks,” a source said. “It was a trick in which the glass was supposed to break, but it hurt her.”

We hear that Lawrence, 30, was injured when the glass hit her near the eye. But sources also told us that the megastar is expected to be fine.

People on the set were shaken by the mishap, sources added.

The film, starring Leonardo DiCaprio, has been shooting in Boston. Lawrence plays an astronomer trying to sound the alarm that Earth’s security is being threatened by an approaching asteroid.

Lawrence, 30, has been almost unrecognizable while filming the film in Boston (and previously in New York) with a red wig as his character, Kate Dibiasky. In a recent scene, she was dressed in a Michigan State sweatshirt, while on the Manhattan set she wore a more elegant raincoat.

List A cast also includes Cate Blanchett, Jonah Hill, Ariana Grande, Timothée Chalamet and Matthew Perry. The disaster comedy is directed by Adam McKay, whose titles include “The Great Short” and “Vice.”

Representatives from Lawrence, Adam McKay and Netflix did not comment immediately.
