Alex Rodriguez seems ready to slide into the base.
On Wednesday, Yankee fans presented another PDA-filled screen with Jennifer Lopez in the Dominican Republic as they reunited with her team. Back in his dressing gown, Lopez had a smile on his ear as he spent time with Rodriguez and the two assistants.
At one point, the big baseball player put his arm around the “Hustlers” star and dragged her to kiss while watching her limbs. In another, he crouched down to steal another soft one as she put her hand to his face.
The couple has been causing a storm for the cameras since they jointly announced they were “working on some things” after their brief breakup last week, though their massive engagement ring is noticeably missing.
Despite the various beloved exhibits, sources told Page Six that J.Lo and A-Rod would not last long.
Lopez, 51, is in the Dominican Republic filming his new film, “Shotgun Wedding,” starring Josh Duhamel. Rodriguez, 45, flew to the tropical island last weekend in an attempt to save his relationship with Lopez.
“They spent a great couple of days in the Dominican Republic,” a source told us. “It simply came to our notice then. This is the status quo at the moment. They are together. “
Prior to the breakup, Lopez had been “recently upset by the set” of her film and “for the last two weeks they haven’t been together and the last few days haven’t been good … They’ve been crazy problems.”
One of the problems, we reported, was Rodriguez’s connection to “Southern Charm” star Madison LeCroy.
The long distance in recent weeks between the “Jenny From the Block” singer and the 45-year-old retired Yankees first baseman has also caused tensions.
Lopez shares twins Emme and Max, 12, with ex-husband Marc Anthony, while Rodriguez is the father of two daughters, Natasha and Ella, to ex-Cynthia Scurtis.
