Resident commissioner Jenniffer Gonzalez shared details of the new project for more federal aid today, Sunday.
In a Facebook live, Gonzalez commented that “the project is ready” but has not yet been approved.
Gonzalez discussed the project to provide a check for $ 600 per individual. In addition, people with children under the age of 18 will also receive $ 600 detail.
It also abounded that $ 325 trillion would be approved for small and medium-sized businesses. He explained that if he qualified for first aid, he already qualifies for this second.
One change that stood out was that instead of receiving $ 10,000, businesses will receive $ 1,000 per employee. In addition, before businesses received aid if they had 500 employees or less, but now they will only be able to receive it if it has 300 employees or less.
On the other hand, González said the project includes unemployment benefit at $ 300 per week for an additional 11 weeks to the money provided by state unemployment. Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA) will also be spread over 11 weeks.
The project proposes $ 3 billion in aid to specialist doctors, and funds for the distribution of the vaccine.
“One option is for another ongoing budget resolution to be passed to extend the life of the current budget until Wednesday,” Gonzalez commented.
Similarly, he has commented that there is still opposition from members of the Republican and Democratic parties.
González took the opportunity of the “live” to comment that he was vaccinated today, and urged the public to be vaccinated when the stage comes.

Detail preview of new federal stimulus check for COVID:
A few hours ago we discussed with the Republican leadership the agreement to fund the federal government and the COVID aid package. The House should be voting 1st today and then go to the Senate.
I am pleased that the new aid measure for COVID also includes $ 325 trillion to extend PPP loans which is so vital for our small traders to continue to operate. That is why, together with Marc Rubio, we are advocating for this important assistance.
It simplifies the procedure for acquiring PPP loans and expands access, allowing other sectors of small businesses such as farmers and ranchers, among others, to apply for them.
It also includes another round of checks; $ 600 per individual and an additional $ 600 detail. The same rules apply as the previous check.
The grants for COVID plus include $ 300 a week for unemployment for 11 weeks, as well as for the PUA. These funds are added to the state contribution.
Other provisions include funding for testing, tracking and development and distribution of vaccines.
