Judge Irmarie Colom Massó on Friday gave way to an urgent motion requesting an amendment to the imprisonment order issued on August 23, 2019 against Jensen Medina Cardona, accused of murdering Arellys Mercat Rius in August 2019 in Vila Marina in Fajardo, so it will be released under electronic supervision.
This order responds to a resolution issued on December 4 by the Supreme Court of Puerto Rico.
To that end, the Pre-Trial Services Program was ordered for the coordination of electronic supervision in Medina Cardona.
It was learned that Medina Cardona was on bail of $ 30,000, ten percent of the $ 300,000 imposed by Judge Vanessa Sanchez of the Fajardo Judicial Center on August 23, 2019.
