Mexico City /
Jesus Corona could leave the Blue Cross in the summer after a 12-year history of defending the club’s beach if the management of the Celestial Machine does not come close to renewing the contract with the goalkeeper, but still, the 40-year-old Mexican goalkeeper will seek to remain active in the MX League.
“Of course I’d like to stay in the Blue Cross, it’s something I’m very clear about, but it’s not up to me anymore. So far there have been no approaches from the board, I’m just calm, ”he told TUDN.
“I know I have to do my job, try to maintain a good level of football and I don’t know if I’m still here at the Blue Cross or not. If I continue to be good, the truth would be very proud and very grateful, if we do not look for new airs, new opportunities, but I want to keep active I am clear”
The celestial archer arrived at the club in the Opening 2019 and after more than 12 years defending the beach of the institution his contract expires in the summer. Among the successes of the archer are the MX Cup title in 2013, the 2014 CONCACAF Champions League and three League subtitles in 2009, 2013 and 2018.
