One day the Seahawks punched the Jets in the mouth, only fitting that Seattle added Geno Smith to the game to finish the Jets.
Current quarterback Sam Dornold could not find the final zone and now Jets fans can only dream about the future quarterback as the ghost of the Jets quarterback was able to play on Sunday.

The Jets gave everyone a reminder in Seattle why they are the worst team in the NFL, why they will definitely top the draft and get the chance to make the Clemson star.
The Jets made mistakes after mistakes and helped a Seahawks team that needed no help to win 40-3 at Lumen Field.
“It got away from us very quickly,” coach Adam Case said. “When you have opportunities against a team like this, you better use them or whatever the outcome.”
This loss reduces the Jets to 0-13, the worst record in franchise history and the longest defeat. They are the ninth team to start 0-13 since the 1970 merger. Games against the Rams, Browns and the Patriots are between them and Lawrence. If they lose, the choice is theirs. If they win, they should pray for Jaguar’s victory.
When you look at the Jets on Sunday, it’s hard to imagine they could beat the nearby Madison High School, regardless of an NFL team.
A week after the Raiders made a mind-blowing appearance in the final seconds, the Jets lost in a butt-kicked style in a game that ended early. Defensive coordinator Switch from Greg Williams to Frank Bush made no impact on slowing down the Seahawks (9-4) who lifted 410 yards.
Former Jet Jamal Adams did not explode the game, but got his last laugh with an easy win and moved closer to the playoffs.
Sam Dornold threw three interceptions, one of which was Adams. Dornold was besieged by an aggressive, Seattle defense. He was fired twice, and continued to rush. Dornald passed 26 of 14 for 132 yards, beating the NFL against Seattle pass defense.
An easy day at the Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson office. The Jets defense did not breathe for him, and he passed 206 yards, four touchdowns and 27 of 21 for an interception. The leaked jets ran 174 yards in Seattle against defense.
The Jets’ former opener quarterback Smith, who saw his first game in two years, entered the game at the end of the third quarter.
In the first half, the Jets had three missed field goals, one stumble, the worst time was over because the game clock was out and could not use a trip or a long kick.
“We have to take advantage when there are opportunities,” Dornold said. “I think this is what has stopped us throughout the year. Take advantage of it when you get the chance.”
The Jets scored their first claim for the seventh game in a row, an owner record. Sergio Castillo kicked the 45-yard field goal and finished the nine-game, 48-yard run. This is Castillo’s last good moment. He missed his next three field goal attempts.
The Seahawks responded with a touchdown drive, which was pretty easy. They went 75 yards in six plays and gave a 19-yard touchdown pass from Wilson to Freddie Swine, who found a hole in the Jets zone between Arthur Moulet and Javelin Kaitry.
Marcus May made a good interception to complete the Seahawks’ next move, D.K. Metcalfe aimed a pass and threw the ball to himself in the final zone. The Jets failed to do anything on the takeaway, however, four plays and went out.
Wilson joined Metcalfe for a 5-yard touchdown start early in the second quarter. The Seahawks added another touchdown from Chris Carson and a Jason Myers field goal to take a 23-3 half-time lead.
Frank Gore, who suffered a concussion last week, returned, but he stumbled upon setting Myers field goal. The stumble was forced by former Jet Damon Harrison.
Former Jet Adams Adams, who received all the headlines this week, gave up an interception, but was able to cope when Gore stumbled and was fired when he ran over the border behind the Dornold fraud. This gave Adams 8 excuses, an NFL record for defense.
The jets circled in the first half, but were killed by Castillo. He missed field goals from 37, 41 and 43 yards. The final miss came as the Jets had to waste their final time not being able to pick a play at the right time.
“I screwed it up,” Case said of the wasted time. “It was up to me. I screwed up our guys for trying to be too nice on the theatrical call. It was my fault.”
Wilson Bazil scored two more touchdowns in Seattle for Will Disley and David Moore in the third quarter, postponing the game and leading to Geno Time.
Jet planes have become experts in appearance. Unlike last week, it was never close.
“Last week probably felt a little different until I was injured,” Case said. “They all make you feel like st.”
