Jets receiver Jamison Crowder tested positive for COVID-19, a source confirmed.
Crowder will be put on the COVID roster on Friday, leaving his status for the season opener next Sunday against the Panthers in question. The NFL network first reported on Crowder’s condition.

Crowder, 28, was in practice Thursday with what the Jets coach Robert Saleh said was a groin problem. The seven-year NFL veteran added 59 receptions for 699 yards and six touchdowns in 12 games last season.
Crowder’s vaccination status is unclear, but if he has been shot, he will have to be presented with two negative tests a day apart to return to the Jets facility. If not vaccinated, it will be out for a minimum of ten days.
