The breaking point was coming.
After all, how much frustration can these jets take before they become a disgrace?
A week after being removed from CoverGeroGate on Sunday in Seattle, the Jets had the unique feeling that the season was going to be a very competitive and failed loss.
Seattle 40, Jets 3 Jets 0-13 away.
This brings them three more losses from the dubious distinction of being the only third team in NFL history to join 0-16 in the 2008 Lions and 2017 Browns.
More importantly, it leaves three more losses from the promised land of selecting Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence with the No. 1-overall draft selection in the spring.
Jets fans, of course, were happy with this loss, but were they happy to see the awkward production on display on Sunday?
“Last week was probably one [loss] It felt different, ” Jets coach Adam Case told the Riders about the 31-28 loss. “But they all make you feel like st.”
Insults keep coming in all shapes and sizes for jets.
A week ago, it was defensive coordinator Greg Williams ’training malpractice that removed him before breakfast the next day.
On Sunday in Seattle, we thought Seahawk’s defender Jamal Adams would be rubbing it on his ex – team’s faces.
Instead, it was actually Seattle footballer Jason Myers who served as a reminder of the poor staff decisions the Jets had made – pre-current dating.
Myers scored 91.7 percent of his field goals and received the Pro Bowl call in 2018, and the Jets eagerly chose not to sign him again. This was the 17th time in a row this season and the 28th before last season when Myers scored a 41-yard field goal to give Seahack a 17-3 lead in the second quarter.
The Jets have been on the move since Meyers left to sign with Seattle. Sergio Castillo missed three first-half field goals that could have kept the Jets at half 23-12 at half-time.
“We need them all,” Case said.
Want more green mud on the face?
Former Jets quarterback Geno Smith finished the game for the Seahawks, with Russell Wilson sidelined in the fourth quarter. No one in junk time history has ever enjoyed junk time more than Smith did on this day.
Smith has been putting his face on the team’s I.K. since his Jets days.
Life is good for the former Jets who are sleeping well in Seattle, thank you.
Pete Carroll, one of the league’s winning coaches, has been thriving there for years.
“It’s a terrible thing to endure,” Carol Jets notes of the struggles. “Playing this game is mind-boggling and you have to experience that kind of suffering in a year. I knew [their struggles] Goes inside [to the game], But during the game it was clear that it was hard for them, made it hard. ” ‘
Carolyn’s attack coordinator, Brian Scottenheimer, did not receive a proper loan to go to two AFC Championship games with Mark Sanchez as a Jets quarterback in his first two seasons and is thriving in Seattle – his name emerges as a potential head coach.
Adams recorded all-time work on a defensive back as he pushed Dornold out of bounds for a loss in the first half.
“If I told you I wasn’t sitting there and shaking my head, I would lie to you because I know how hard those people work; I was with them for three years,” Adams said.
Then there were Myers and Smith and even Brandon Shell coped, he starts, but was injured on Sunday.
Each of those guys must have looked across the field at Sorry Jets, and they must have thanked the Christmas stars that they were able to escape discipline and move forward.
Jet planes are mismanaged, poorly trained and lost in the wilderness. They have no sign of progress at any time – neither Trevor Lawrence nor Trevor Lawrence. It’s bigger than a player, a quarterback.
“I know there’s a lot of frustration out there,” Adams said. “I hope they get it right.”
