A job application filed by former Apple CEO Steve Jobs in 1973 has been sold for a huge $ 222,400 auction in London (via Me more).
The infrequent occupancy questionnaire went on sale on February 24 and the auction lasted a month. Jobs filled out the application in hopes of getting a job after leaving Reed College, which he attended for about six months. A year later, in 1974, Jobs joined Atari as a technician, where he later joined Steve Wozniak to create Apple in 1976.
In the paper, which previously sold for $ 175,000 three years ago, Jobs highlighted “English lit” as its main one, while also including “electronic technology” and “design engineer” as special skills and interests. Jobs also included his skills in computers and calculators.
The document’s listing says it is in “very good condition,” with “light staining and old clear tape on the top edge.” To prove that it is the actual deal written by Steve Jobs himself, it includes letters and certificates of authenticity.
