President Joe Biden “should not be used in connection with any business activity that may be suggested, or in any way that could reasonably be [be] understood that it implies, its support or support ”: this is what a White House official told the press last month. But it seems that some Bidens did not get the grade.
Biden’s brothers, Jim and Frank, have been swapping the family name for decades, with son Hunter joining more recently, taking advantage of his alleged ability to get favors from Joe. And it hasn’t stopped.
Frank Biden appeared in an announcement from the Florida law firm on the day of the inauguration, no more and no less, with the president’s name to draw attention to the Berman Law Group’s class action lawsuit against the producers of sugar cane: “The two Biden brothers have long been committed to pushing environmental issues to the forefront,” the announcement said.
And Hunter’s new effort is a memoir about his fight against addiction, “Beautiful Things,” which will be released on April 6th. The president paints it as a personal triumph for his son: “My boy is on his back,” he shouted on CBS ‘Nora O’ Donnell, but some book company would publish those memoirs (and supposedly pay much) if Hunter’s father were not president?
