Johan Mojica apologizes to the Colombia National Team for posting on their social networks Colombia selection

Johan Mojica, a left winger with a presence in Elche, Spain, was the center of controversy last Tuesday, after expressing his dissatisfaction with the non-call-up to the Colombia National Team to play in the triple qualifiers.

The defender posted a message on his Instagram account, which he deleted minutes later, saying: “Is it real? So what to do? … My mother”, referring to the list of 28 players called by Reinaldo roda.

Following the controversy over its publication, this Wednesday, the defender issued a statement in which he apologized for his words on networks, arguing that he was carried away by the ‘personal frustration’ of not being summoned.

Mojica, 29, clarified that it is always a pride to wear the Tricolor, and that at no time did he want to disrespect Reinaldo Rueda, the FCF, or his teammates.

“First I want to express my most sincere apologies to Prof. Reinaldo Rueda and his entire coaching staff, to my teammates, managers of the Colombian Federation and last but not least our inflated; it was a mistake to have left me carrying emotionally out of personal frustration at not being summoned, I recognize that is not the appropriate way or content to express myself, ”the statement said.
